Mermaid Retreats

 

With the release of Disney’s The Little Mermaid remake and MerPeople on Netflix, there has never been a better time to try your fin at being a mermaid! 

 

Whether you're already a certified mer or have been waiting for the mer-fect opportunity to earn your PADI Mermaid certification, this is the trip for you. Statia Divers by Golden Rock Resort have partnered with Sirens & Sunsets introducing our very first mermaid retreat with GalaxSea Mermaid here on St. Eustatius.

 

During the retreat you will learn or polish your skills in a supportive coaching environment on our beautiful Caribbean isle, suitable for anyone aged 10+.

 

Prices start from $715 per person for double occupancy or from $1,155 for single occupancy with different room categories available. Stay tuned for the dates of the retreat in 2024.

Itinerary:

 

Day 1

• Arrive at F. D. Roosevelt Airport (EUX) by own arrangements and meet the Golden Rock Resort shuttle
• Relax in the Caribbean breeze and meet up with your new friends for dinner

 

Day 2

• Start the morning off right with yoga mermaids love!
• Breakfast
• Mermaid in Golden Rock's many pools (Basic Mermaid)
• Lunch
• Land photoshoots
• Relax and enjoy dinner

 

Day 3

• Morning yoga session
• Breakfast
• Mermaid in Golden Rock's many pools (PADI Mermaid)
• Lunch
• In-water photoshoots
• Spend the evening with your mermaid friends with a unique Sip & Paint activity
• Round off the evening with dinner

 

Day 4

• Morning yoga session
• Breakfast
• Explore the saltwater lagoon (Advanced Mermaid)
• Lunch
• Guided hike up the Quill with a mermaid photoshoot (hiking shoes recommended)
• The last supper

 

Day 5

• Day of departure
• Breakfast and enjoying the last few moments of paradise

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Upon cancellation of a reservation for any reason, the refund of the deposit and payments made or due will be contingent upon Sirens & Sunsets reselling the participant's reservation. Any refund may also be subject to a $150 cancellation fee and payment of any non-refundable fees imposed by the tour companies, dive operator, or any other contractor associated with the trip.
