The Lagoon

The Caribbean's largest man-made, cliff edge, ocean fed lagoon, the size of a football field, can be found next to Bobbie's Beach Club. Designed to be enjoyed by all, there are hammocks and swings in the shallow end, and a sunken American school bus at 30ft deep which has created an artificial reef for those seeking to learn how to dive. Statia Divers by Golden Rock Resort teach a variety of PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Deep Specialty to Divemaster. The lagoon conveniently offers an on resort location for confined water training, Discover Scuba Diving and bubblemaster classes.

The Hummingbird pool and Hibiscus pool are open from sunrise to sunset, and the lagoon is open from 10am to sunset. We don't have any lifeguards on duty, therefore swimming is at your own risk.
